A series of 8 modules, approx 1 hour each, developed during the Times of India newspaper in Education programme.
Module 1: The philosophy and psychology of music, music as a language of communication, basic instruments and techniques.
Module 2: development of modern Western music from its Afro-American roots-Red Indian sacred dances, European classical music, folk music, hymns; Voodoo chants of the Congo, Negro spirituals.
